10 Holiday Traffic Safety Tips

While you are out taking part in the hustle and bustle this season, don’t forget about the serious dangers of holiday traffic. The National Safety Council (NSC) that between the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, there will be roughly 700 traffic fatalities and nearly 80,000 traffic-related injuries.

According to the National Safety Council (NSC), traffic deaths in the first 10 months of 2016 were significantly higher than over the same time period in 2015.

The increase in traffic fatalities can be attributed to a number of causes. There is no doubt that Americans have been spending more time on the road, as there was a 3.3% increase in miles driven in the first half of 2016 compared to the same time frame in 2015.
