A driver was extricated from his vehicle Friday after being involved in a two-vehicle crash. The crash happened on the 14500 block of Rodeo Drive around 2:30 p.m. The driver of a white Ford Mustang was found trapped in the vehicle. Firefighters freed the driver and he was taken to a local hospital for his injuries. The Mustang sustained major damage from the crash.
The other vehicle, a Chrysler 300, was also significantly damaged. The vehicle’s two occupants, a female driver and male passenger, were not injured.
Police have not released specific details about the two-vehicle crash. They closed Rodeo Drive between Cabrillo Drive and Villa Drive during the investigation.
“We hope police are able to determine what caused the crash. These major accidents have practically become a daily occurrence and we need to work toward fixing the problem,” said Attorney Walter Clark, founder of Walter Clark Legal Group.
