Hesperia Man Airlifted After Motorcycle Crash in Victorville

A Hesperia man suffered serious injuries after he was hit in a motorcycle crash last Friday. Police say the 66-year-old motorcyclist collided with a Toyota Prius at the intersection of D Street and 10th Street in Victorville. The crash happened around 2:35 p.m.

The Prius driver was traveling west on D Street and attempted to make a lefthand turn onto 10th Street. The driver failed to yield to a motorcyclist heading east on D Street. The failure to yield caused the motorcycle to broadside the Prius.

The motorcyclist sustained major injuries in the collision. He was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. The Prius driver did not appear to be injured in the motorcycle crash.

“Instead of navigating carefully and double checking for oncoming traffic, this driver chose to make a hasty lefthand turn. As a result, another innocent motorcyclist has been seriously hurt,” said Attorney Walter Clark, founder of Walter Clark Legal Group.
