Critically Injured Pedestrian Remains in Hospital

The pedestrian sustained major injuries from the crash. He was airlifted to a trauma center once authorities arrived. As of Tuesday, he remained in critical condition at the hospital.

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the hit-and-run suspect. They are looking for the driver of an older model “box-shaped” sedan. The vehicle fled south on Seventh Avenue following the crash. Based on the victim’s injuries, the vehicle may have damage to the front bumper, hood and windshield. No description of the driver is available.
