Jannelle Mackoff is an experienced trial attorney who brings a relentless, client-first approach to her litigation practice as part of the Walter Clark Legal Group Team. An attorney since 2017, Ms. Mackoff has an extensive background in personal injury law, complex insurance coverage disputes, and construction litigation.
While Ms. Mackoff prioritizes efficient, high-value resolutions for her clients through settlement, as a seasoned courtroom advocate she will not hesitate to take a case to trial when necessary to protect her clients’ interests.
Throughout her career, Ms. Mackoff has been fortunate to receive substantial litigation training. She completed advanced trial training through the AAJ Ultimate Trial Advocacy course in Cambridge, MA, as well as the AAJ Trial Advocacy Depositions College in Portland, OR. Her practical excellence was recognized at UBC with the Arthur Close, QC Prize in Advanced Legal Research.
Ms. Mackoff earned her J.D. from the University of British Columbia (2016) and served as captain of the UBC Varsity Women’s Rowing team during law school. A national championship rower and All-Canadian student-athlete, she brings the same discipline and competitive drive from elite sport to every client matter. Fierce and focused, Jannelle fights for her clients with the skill and dedication they deserve.
Outside the office, Ms. Mackoff can be found smashing serves on the tennis court at the local IWTG Tennis Club. A passionate animal advocate, she fosters cats and volunteers with animal rescues. She is always happy to share unlimited photos of her own adorable kittens, Kovu and Calypso.
Ms. Mackoff is admitted to practice law in both California and British Columbia.
