A 5-year-old boy was airlifted after he was involved in a three-vehicle crash in Victorville last Wednesday night. The crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Mojave Drive west of Topango Road. The three vehicles involved—a Toyota Sienna, Chevy Suburban and Lincoln Navigator—were all traveling eastbound when the crash occurred.

The Toyota and Chevrolet were stopped on Mojave waiting for a vehicle to turn left onto Topanga Road when the Lincoln rear-ended the Chevrolet. The Chevrolet then crashed into the Toyota. The 5-year-old boy was riding in the Lincoln. He was transported to the hospital, then airlifted to a trauma center for major injuries.

The driver of the Lincoln was moderately injured and was treated at a local hospital. No one else appears to have been injured. The three-vehicle crash briefly blocked traffic on Mojave Drive, and drivers were rerouted at Amargosa Road. Police have not released an official cause of the crash.

“Our prayers are with this young victim and his family. We hope he is able to make a quick recovery,” said Attorney Walter Clark, founder of Walter Clark Legal Group.
