Seven people were hurt in a tractor-trailer crash on Highway 395 in Adelanto on Wednesday. The crash involving a tractor-trailer and a Victor Valley Transit bus occurred around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 395 and Bartlett Avenue. The bus was traveling west on Bartlett Avenue when it collided with the tractor-trailer, which was traveling north on Highway 395.

It is unclear exactly how the crash happened. Seven of the bus occupants, including the driver, reported injuries. The bus driver was extricated by firefighters using the Jaws of Life, then taken to a trauma center. The six others injured were taken to a local hospital.

Highway 395 was shut down between Bartlett Avenue and Air Expressway in both directions for several hours. Victor Valley officers are still investigating the tractor-trailer crash.

If you are injured in a bus crash, there are several steps you should take right away to ensure your safety and the safety of those around you.

“We are wishing everyone involved in this tractor-trailer crash a quick recovery,” said Attorney Walter Clark, founder of Walter Clark Legal Group.
