Did Unsafe Lane Change Cause 3-Vehicle Crash?

No one was injured in a three-vehicle crash in Victorville last month. Police responded to the crash on Nisqualli Road west of 11th Avenue, finding a gold Nissan Maxima overturned in the roadway.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s department, the driver of the Maxima was traveling east on Nisqualli Road when he attempted to move into the middle turning lane. The Maxima struck a green Nissan Frontier, then clipped a red Ford F-450. The impact caused the Maxima to flip onto its roof.

The driver, Matthew Banks of Victorville, said he was trying to turn onto 11th Avenue. Banks and his passenger had minor cuts from the crash but no major injuries. No one else in the crash was injured. The three-vehicle crash remains under investigation.

“It’s a miracle the driver and his passenger escaped serious injury after this crash. Hopefully this accident serves as a reminder to always wait to turn until you are sure it is safe,” said Attorney Walter Clark, founder of Walter Clark Legal Group.
