Attorney Kory Layton represents injured workers throughout the High Desert, Coachella Valley, and surrounding communities. He is committed to helping clients navigate California’s workers’ compensation system and obtain the benefits and medical treatment they deserve following a workplace injury.
Before entering the legal profession, Kory spent more than two decades in emergency medical services, including the last 10 years of his career as a flight paramedic. His extensive medical background gives him a unique understanding of workplace injuries, medical treatment, and the challenges injured workers face during their recovery. This experience allows him to effectively analyze medical records, communicate with healthcare providers, and advocate for clients throughout the workers’ compensation process.
Kory graduated magna cum laude from Grand Canyon University before earning his Juris Doctor from University of La Verne. His combination of medical knowledge and legal training provides clients with a distinct advantage when navigating complex workers’ compensation claims.
Kory is dedicated to providing responsive, compassionate representation and helping injured workers protect their rights under California law.
Outside of the office, Kory enjoys spending time with his wife and children, camping, and traveling with family and friends.
