In 2013, Cynthia Ruby earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from San Diego State University. She continued on to obtain her Paralegal Certification from the University of San Diego in 2014. During her criminal justice studies, Cynthia interned as an Investigator for the Alternate Public Defender’s Office where she gained a passion for law. During her paralegal studies at USD, Cynthia interned as a Paralegal for the immigration law office of Jacobs & Schlesinger, LLP. Shortly after obtaining her paralegal certification, Cynthia worked as a Correctional Deputy Probation Officer for the County of San Diego where she gained an interest in personally advocating for people through legal means. Cynthia began working as a Paralegal with an esteemed firm, gaining valuable experience handling personal injury matters and a strong desire to advocate for the injured. In 2016, she joined another firm, where she gained further experience in personal injury. In 2018, she joined Walter Clark Legal Group. Cynthia speaks, reads, and writes Spanish fluently. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, exercising, sightseeing, and spending time with family and friends.
