A woman was extricated from her vehicle Thursday after she was involved in a collision in Victorville. The crash occurred at the intersection of Green Tree Boulevard and Hesperia Road at 7:17 a.m.
Did Driver Run a Red Light?
According to the Victorville Sheriff’s Station, the woman was driving a Ford Taurus east on Green Tree Boulevard when she failed to stop at the red light at the Hesperia Road intersection. She drove in the path of a southbound Ford F-350. The pickup truck then struck the driver’s side of the Taurus, trapping the woman.
The woman was extricated from her vehicle, then airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment. She suffered injuries including a possible broken arm.
Police shut down southbound Hesperia Road for an hour following the crash. The accident remains under investigation.
“Unfortunately, this driver chose to disregard the traffic signal, causing this accident,” said Attorney Walter Clark, founder of Walter Clark Legal Group.
