Do You Have Info on Local Hit-and-Run Suspects?

Police are searching for two hit-and-run suspects who struck pedestrians Wednesday night. The first incident occurred on I-15 near Baker. California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers responded to reports of a deceased person on the northbound shoulder at 7:27 p.m. Officers arrived on the scene to find a woman’s body outside of her vehicle parked alongside the road.

According to CHP officials, the woman was fatally struck by a vehicle that left the scene. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle involved in the fatal collision. The fatal crash remains under investigation by the Barstow CHP. The victim’s identity will be withheld until her family is notified.

The second incident happened in Desert Hot Springs around 10 p.m. One person was injured in the crash at Little Morongo Road and Palomar Lane. The details of the crash and the victim’s injuries were not available. Police are searching for the hit-and-run suspect. He or she is likely driving a 2007 Jaguar Model X with damage to the right fender skirt and rearview mirror.

“We hope police are able to locate both of these hit-and-run suspects and bring them to justice,” said Attorney Walter Clark, founder of Walter Clark Legal Group.
