NHTSA Compliance Assistance Program Aims to Help Improve Highway Safety

Last month, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced they would be launching a Compliance Assistance Program to help regulate vehicle manufacturers and dealers comply with safety regulations. The program is an effort to promote safety on the roads.

The program will help ensure that companies in the automotive industry have access to the tools and information they need to comply with regulations. This will include providing resources and education to these entities. The NHTSA will also create a direct channel of communication between companies and the agency.

The program applies to all entities regulated by the NHTSA, which includes vehicle and trailer manufacturers, equipment manufacturers, and dealers.

“Hopefully this new initiative will increase compliance with highway regulations and help improve safety on our roads,” said Attorney Walter Clark, founder of Walter Clark Legal Group.
