Aggressive Pit Bulls Attack Victorville Man

A man suffered serious injuries after two aggressive pit bulls attacked him in Victorville Tuesday. The attack happened around 4 p.m. in the 14500 block of Anacapa Road. According to the Victorville Sheriff’s Station, the victim was walking in an alley when the pit bulls charged him.

A witness driving by in his truck says he attempted to run the dogs over to help the victim. But the dogs continued to act aggressively and bite the man even after Sheriff’s officials and fire personnel arrived. A deputy then shot and killed one of the dogs. The other ran away and police continue to still searching for it. Paramedics then airlifted the victim to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for his injuries.

Deputy S. Hamilton, who fatally shot the dog, says this is the worst animal attack he has ever witnessed. The Victorville Sheriff’s Station continues to investigate. Anyone with information about the dogs should call (760) 241-2911.
