Two people were critically injured and two others suffered minor injuries in a Victorville three-vehicle collision Wednesday night. The auto accident occurred around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of La Paz Drive and Roy Rogers Drive.
According to police, a Ford pickup truck exiting northbound I-15 from Roy Rogers Drive failed to stop at a red light. The truck driver then the entered the intersection and attempted to turn right onto La Paz Drive. The pickup truck flipped and struck an eastbound BMW sedan. Both vehicles then crashed into a motorhome that was sitting at a red light at La Paz Drive in the westbound turn lane.
2 People Airlifted with Critical Injuries
Two people in pickup truck suffered critical injuries. Emergency responders airlifted the victims to a trauma center for treatment. Two occupants of the BMW also suffered injuries. Police said the injuries were minor, but both victims were taken to a local hospital. No one in the motorhome was hurt in the crash.
Police closed down the intersection of La Paz Drive and Roy Rogers Drive for several hours. The Victorville three-vehicle collision is under investigation.
