Biker Killed in Mountain Center Motorcycle Crash
A Palm Desert man was killed Saturday evening in a Mountain Center motorcycle crash. According to police, the 76-year-old motorcyclist lost control of his bike and was ejected. The accident occurred on westbound State Route 74 near Scenic Drive at 9:20 p.m.
When paramedics arrived, they found the motorcyclist unconscious in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at 11:12 p.m. at Eisenhower Medical Center. The motorcyclist’s name has not yet been released.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is still investigating the Mountain Center motorcycle crash.
