Driver Killed After Car is T-Boned on Bear Valley Road

A Victorville man died early Saturday morning after his vehicle was T-boned in Hesperia. Police say the driver of a Honda Civic coupe was traveling north on I Avenue when he entered the intersection of Bear Valley Road. Just then, an eastbound GMC Sonoma pickup truck T-boned the Honda. The crash happened at 2:22 a.m.

The crash impact pushed the Honda into a gas station parking lot, where it then crashed into a parked vehicle. The driver of the Honda died at the scene. The pickup truck driver was did not suffer injuries.

The fatal crash shut down Bear Valley Road from Ridgecrest to Peach Avenue. The Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is investigating the accident. So far, it is unclear which vehicle had the right of way.
