Motorcyclist Killed in Palm Desert Crash

A Mira Loma man was killed in a Palm Desert motorcycle crash Wednesday night. The motorcyclist, 40-year-old Dustin Blair, was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:40 p.m. The fatal crash occurred on Highway 74 just east of Ribbonwood Drive.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), Blair was traveling east on a Harley Davidson when he lost control of the bike. He crossed into the opposing lane and collided head-on with a westbound Toyota Sienna minivan.The Blair was then thrown from the motorcycle.

The investigation into the Palm Desert motorcycle crash is ongoing. Highway 74 was closed from the Visitor’s Center at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains through Highway 371 near Anza until sometime Thursday morning.
