How to Prevent Drowning Incidents

Drowning is the No. 1 cause of accidental death for children under 5 in California. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, 77% of child drowning victims were only out of sight from an adult for 5 minutes or less. Because drowning occurs quickly and silently, children are seriously at risk if they are left unattended for any amount of time. To prevent a drowning incident, follow these safety tips.

“Our hearts go out to the family who lost their child in this tragedy,” said Attorney Walter Clark, founder of Walter Clark Legal Group.
