Victorville Woman Injured in Neighborhood Crash
A Victorville woman was hospitalized last week after a speeding Corvette crashed into her vehicle in a residential area. The crash occurred last Thursday around 8:30 p.m. on Mesa Linda Avenue, just south of Ojo Caliente Street.
According to the victim’s mother, her 23-year-old daughter was turning right into her driveway when the Corvette crashed into her vehicle. The impact caused the victim’s car to go up the neighbor’s driveway and crash into his Mercedes.
The Corvette then crashed into a parked Jeep Grand Cherokee belonging to the victim’s neighbor. Responding officers determined the Corvette driver was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. However, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
