Fernando Cazarez, a highly valued member of WCLG’s intake specialist team, recently presented the Student of the Month scholarship to Scarlett Pina from Imperial High School. As part of the award, Scarlett has received a financial award that she can use to help fund her college studies following graduation.

Ms. Pina has made a name for herself among her peers by consistently demonstrating respect for her fellow classmates and faculty. According to those who know her, she is always willing to give a helping hand and helps make Imperial High School a better place on a daily basis. Ms. Pina is planning on pursuing a career in the medical industry. Currently, she is set on attending Imperial Valley College and eventually graduating from UC San Diego. With a stellar 4.0 grade point average, Ms. Pina has truly set herself up for success in the years to come.
