Last Friday, tragedy struck in Desert Hot Springs. According to local authorities, a female pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle at approximately 10:40 PM. The accident occurred on Palm Drive to the south of Dillon Road.

Fortunately, the driver of the vehicle who struck the woman remained at the scene of the accident and cooperated fully with authorities upon their arrival. At the time of this publication, authorities have stated that they do not believe any controlled or illegal substances played a role in the crash.
