Hit-and-Run Victim Left with Life-Threatening Injuries

A woman was left with life-threatening injuries in a Hesperia hit-and-run Sunday night. Police say 48-year-old Lizzette Lebron was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Navajo Road and Sitting Bull Road. The pedestrian crash occurred around 8:20 p.m.

When police arrived, the vehicle that struck Lebron had left the scene. The injured pedestrian was lying unresponsive in the No. 2 lane of the road. Lebron was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, but her current condition is unknown.

Hit-and-Run Suspect Found 2 Days Later

Police were able to locate the hit-and-run suspect. They arrested 53-year-old Gregory Conway at his Hesperia home Tuesday. They also found the 2001 silver Saturn involved in the crash. Conway is being charged with felony hit-and-run.

Officers are still investigating the hit-and-run. Anyone with information can contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Apple Valley Station at (760) 240-7400.
