Toddler in Intensive Care After Being Found in Inflatable Pool

A one-year-old boy is in an intensive care unit after he was found unresponsive in an inflatable pool Sunday. Police responded to a home on the 14300 block of Hondo Drive around 1:20 p.m. They then transported the injured child to Victor Valley Global Medical Center. From there, authorities airlifted him to Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Boy was Only Unsupervised for 1 Minute

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the boy was in an inflatable pool that was about a foot and half filled with water. He was allegedly unsupervised for about one minute when the incident occurred. Fortunately, the child regained his breath and pulse before being transported to the hospital.
