WCLG Sponsors LYFT To Curb Drunk Driving

Walter Clark Legal Group is addressing the drunk driving problem by sponsoring LYFT rides for the holidays. People can enter promo code WCLGHOLIDAY into the LYFT smartphone app to get a one-way ride home from a bar, restaurant or party. The code is valid for one-time use from 10:00PM to 3:00AM on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, or New Year’s Day in the Coachella Valley and Victorville areas.

“If you see somebody who doesn’t look like they should be driving, Walter Clark Legal Group will pay for the LYFT ride,” encourages Walter Clark.

“We do this to bring attention to the drunk driving problem, which I don’t think is ever solved by punishing impaired drivers,” explains Clark. “The best solutions include good public transportation and reinstatement of laws to hold restaurants and bars responsible for harm resulting from over-serving their guests.”

Effects of Drunk Driving

Impaired drivers put themselves at risk of a DUI and its wide-ranging effects. These effects can include loss of life, insurance rate increases, jail time, and a suspension of driving privileges. Thus, impaired drivers are encouraged to take advantage of the LYFT rides sponsored by Walter Clark Legal Group. Additionally, anyone who sees an impaired person who should not be driving is encouraged to use the promotion.

New and existing LYFT users can enter promo code WCLGHOLIDAY into the LYFT smartphone app. The promo code is redeemable one time per user for a single one-way ride home. The code is valid within the Coachella Valley cities of Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Desert Hot Springs, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Bermuda Dunes, Indio, and Coachella, or in Victorville and its surrounding communities within a 10-mile radius. WCLGHOLIDAY is valid from 10:00PM to 3:00AM Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
